Thank you for your interest in supporting the Friends of the Washougal Library!
We accept book donations year-round to help raise funds for library programs and our goal of building a larger, modern library facility.
What we accept:
- Adult and children’s books in good to excellent condition
- DVDs, CDs, and audiobooks in very good to excellent condition
- Former library books are acceptable
What we cannot accept:
- Books that are dirty, water-damaged, mildewed, heavily marked or smell of smoke
- Encyclopedias, dictionaries, magazines or textbooks
- Cassette or VHS tapes, or sheet music
- Excessive copies of the same title
- Outdated travel guides, technology books, or reference materials
- Advance reader copies
How to donate:
- Small donations may be placed in the donation box inside the Washougal Library.
- Large donations should be coordinated in advance by contacting our book sale coordinator:
